Photography \ Silently Waiting
Fear is something very personal. We can all experience fear in different ways and for different reasons. As a child I was always afraid of the basement in my childhood home, imagining all the horrors my creative mind would allow.
Silently Waiting is a project to experience something outside your comfort-zone. I spent dozens of hours alone in the dark and silent basement, and felt discomfort even during the image editing. Slowly I started to trust that there were no demons or zombies lurking in the dark. By recreating my fears through photography it helped me de-dramatize and still my mind.
